This week celebrates National Emergency Medical Services Week. TSFR provides what is referred to as a QRS (Quick Response Service) that sends on duty staff to medical emergencies and traumas to assist our local EMS providers.

However, we would like to take this opportunity to salute our brothers and sisters at Western Berks EMS and neighboring EMS agencies who staff the ambulances, paramedic units, helicopters and all other EMS conveyances in our community. They save lives and reduce suffering on a daily basis.

We urge our community to support and honor them as well.
