It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ronald Stoudt. Ron served the Township and surrounding area since 1963. He started his fire career with Lincoln Park, West Lawn, and Wyomissing (September 13, 1965 to 1985) and then with the Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services where he served until his retirement in December of 2020.

During his time, Ron served as Firefighter,
Driver, WFC Vice President 1973 – 1976, Lieutenant, and Captain. His desire to serve the community continued with him becoming the Fire Prevention Captain. Ron was an integral part in building the fire
prevention and community outreach program from the ground up that is still in use today. Ron will be greatly missed.
