TSFR members supported the National Night Out festivities at the Lincoln Park Pool on Tuesday night Aug 2. The event was sponsored by the Spring Twp Police and included displays and stands featuring Twp of Spring Fire Rescue, Western Berks EMS, Berks 911, Berks County Probation, PA Army Natl Guard, PA State Police, Spring and Wyomissing PDs, and Westside EMA among others. Twp Police sources estimated approximately 1000 people attended the event.

TSFR personnel were on hand to meet residents and provide tours of Engine 85 on static display, answer questions, and hand out fire prevention materials. Among other things, 150 plastic fire helmets and numerous coloring books, pens, pamphlets and plush toys were handed out.
