| We at TSFRS know what it feels like to lose one of your own. However, the pain associated with the loss of two at the same time who were acknowledged as being the heart and soul of an organization is unfathomable.
We salute the memory of Chief Buck and Asst Chief Shick of the Walnuttown Fire Company who were killed in the line of duty on April 4 2026. Both men were honored and memorialized this weekend.
We also salute the efforts, pride and professionalism displayed by the Walnuttown members as they coped with their loss this past week.
TSFRS was proud to have participated in both the honor guard prep and display, and the "Sea of Blue" at the service on Saturday. |
