| Early Friday evening July 17, TSFRS was dispatched to Rte. 222 Northbound in Cumru Twp for a reported vehicle fire. Accordingly, Engine 85 responded as part of a mutual aid assignment to Cumru Twp and arrived with a well involved engine compartment and small grass fire. E85 members stretched their front bumper line and initiated fire attack. Cumru Twp FD Deputy 42-2 reported fire under control and crews overhauled the vehicle. E85 stood by until the tow company removed the vehicle.
TSFRS Fire Police responded and assisted Cumru Fire Police and Township police with traffic control. to maintain a safe work environment for firefighters and tow personnel. |
