| Rescue 85 was dispatched on mutual aid to Wyomissing for a vehicle crash with unknown injuries on Southbound Rte 222 near the Penn Avenue exit. The crash, which occurred on Thursday morning August 27, was reported as a vehicle into the median. Rescue Engine 85 responded in place of Rescue 85 along with TSFRS Fire Police. Units arrived on location with a single vehicle against the median and the driver out of the vehicle. Western Berks EMS Intermediate Unit 6561 arrived and provided patient care. RE85's crew applied oil dry to a small spill of fluids on the roadway and remained on location with Station 79 for blocking until the vehicle was removed. |
