On Sunday afternoon November 1, TSFRS Rescue 85 and Fire Police, along with Western Berks Medic 6512 were dispatched to the end of the ramp from Rt. 222 SB onto Paper Mill Road in northern Spring Twp for a vehicle crash with injuries unknown. Additional information indicated that additional vehicles might be involved and one vehicle had rolled over.
R85 arrived on location with EMS and PD and confirmed a vehicle on its side. There being no entrapment, personnel stood by while EMS evaluated 2 patients. Personnel observed that the vehicle was still powered on and in drive. As such the vehicle was stabilized and the windshield removed so that the vehicle could be put into park and turned off. Once the vehicle was righted, R85 personnel assisted the tow company with clean up and covering oil with Oil Dri.
R85 was then released and made available. |
