In the afternoon of Sunday December 11 TSFR and Wyo FD along with our mutual aid partners were dispatched for a possible structure fire in the 2000 block of Reading Ave in the West Wyomissing section of Spring Twp. Intial indications were for an oven fire with smoke in the dwelling.

E85, L79 and Chief 85 arrived on scene to find a single-story dwelling with light smoke visible inside. E85s crew reported a small fire contained to the oven which was controlled with a fire extinguisher. There was no extension, and the smoke condition was removed with mechanical ventilation provided by L79.
