Recently retired Firefighters Relief Association President Neil Strause was presented with a plaque at the January meeting on Monday night January 23 to commemorate his many years of service to the Association and the Department. Neil served diligently as President from 2005 to 2022. Prior to that, Neil also served as the last chief of the Vinemont Fire Co until the Township merger, and as a Deputy Chief of the new organization from the startup until 2020, capping 46 years of service.
