An early morning fire involving a deck attached to a home on Cleveland Ave in the West Wyomissing neighborhood of Spring Township resulted in a full structure assignment being dispatched. Reported as a house fire with a possible explosion TSFR Engine 85 arrived and determined that the fire was confined to a deck on the side of the home. A grill propane cylinder exploded and alerted neighbors and occupants to the fire. E85 stretched a hose line to extinguish the fire and Wyo FD Ladder 79 provided overhaul of the deck structure. Western Berks Ladder 18 members checked the interior for extension, with none found. Fortunately teh fire was confined to the deck and most importantly, there were no injuries.
