Haz Mat with Symptoms

On Wednesday morning June 7, TSFR, Wyo FD, Western Berk FD and Western Berks EMS were dispatched to a local school for a reported hazardous condition with multiple patients. TSFR Rescue Rescue 85, Wyo FD Ladder 79, and WBFD Engine 18-2, along with WBEMS Squad 650, Medics 6511, 6512 and 6521 responded.

Upon arrival personnel ensured the removal of all occupants to another building, swept the entire structure with air quality meters and checked the operation of the HVAC system. EMS personnel evaluated and attended to three patients. All air readings were found to be in normal ranges and no issues were found with the HVAC system.
