A fire in the walls of a home on the Adamstown side of Old Lancaster Pike in southern Spring Township resulted in a structure fire response on Saturday morning June 29. TSFR units along with our mutual aid partners from Lancaster (Adamstown 11, Denver 13) and Berks (Shillington 36, Wyomissing 79, Kenhorst 69, Mohnton 57, Cumru 42, Brecknock 72, Western Berks EMS ) responded.

First arriving Adamstown TrK11 reported fire in the walls , stretched a hose line and began to open up accordingly. TSFR E85 arrived, and the crews initiated a search for the cause, Brecknock TN72 was assigned as initial water supply, with manpower assigned to stage at TK11. In short order, the fire was extinguished, and residual smoke removed. Units were retuned as their crews and equipment were secured. As such the assignment was reduced to E85 assisting FM43 with the investigation.
