TSFRS Engine 85 was dispatched to the 100 block of Eric Avenue in the nearby Cumru Township neighborhood of Mifflin Park on Sunday morning June 15 as part of a structure fire mutual aid assignment. The fire was reported to be a fire in the basement of a single-family residence. Cumru Co. 42 arrived on scene and reported a working fire.

E85 arrived as the 3rd-due Engine and staged. Personnel then gathered their equipment and reported to the residence for assignment. Members from E85 deployed a back-up line from Cumru E42-1 to the rear where a doorway. to the basement was located. The hose line was advanced when L79 members forced entry and E85 personnel were able to advance the hose.

E85 members also assisted with ventilation operations after which they were released and returned to station.
