TSFRS personnel attended a series of live fire training sessions at the Berks County FIre Training Site held Wednesday thru Saturday mornings, July 9-12. Each of the four platoons of TSFRS career personnel participated on assigned sessions with TSFRS volunteer members attending as convenient. TSFRS members were joined by personnel from the Cumru Twp, Wyomissing Borough, and Western Berks Fire Départements over the four days.

Each session started at approximately 0800 and lasted until noon. There were four evolutions every day, each one involving multiple crews and multiple fire scenarios conducted in the residential side of the burn building. Fires were set using wooden pallets and excelsior straw to simulate real world fire conditions.
