Mutual Aid to Shillington for House Fire

On Friday morning July 8 Engine 85 responded to a reported structure fire in Shillington Boro, as part of a second alarm assignment for a working fire. E85 performed search operations on the 1st floor, accessed the basement the basement and secured power to the structure. Personnel then reported to the manpower pool until released.

WFD Ladder 79 responded on the initial call. The main was raised to the roof to prepare for ventilation, while members performed searches on the 1st and 2nd floor and assisted the engine crew with advancing the initial hose line. After duties were complete, personnel reported to manpower until released.
