A fire in a dumpster adjacent to a local restaurant undergoing renovation in the West Lawn section of Spring Twp resulted in the dispatch of a full structure fire assignment due to its proximity to the building. TSFR Engine 85 was initially alerted to the dumpster fire and was enroute when, due to additional information received, the incident was upgraded by Berks County Communications.

However, on arrival E85s crew determined that there was minimal threat to the building and that the fire could be handled with themselves and Wyo FD Ladder 79. Accordingly the balance of the assignment was recalled.
