| TSFRS personnel were honored to participate in the annual National Night Out sponsored by our brothers and sisters in blue from the Spring Twp Police, which was held on Tuesday night August 4. As promised, it was a night of fun, food, entertainment, giveaways and hopefully some education. It gave our neighbors an opportunity to see multiple public agencies and servants in a less stressful and more enjoyable atmosphere than frequently happens.
TSFRS took the opportunity to set up our stand with Engine 85 and two tables of free gifts including helmets, coloring books, chip clips, pens pencils and other goodies. More importantly it also allowed us to pass off information how to obtain free smoke detectors and to see the equipment and people that stand ready to protect them 24/7.
