As part of the remembrance of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, ceremonies were held at Wilson School District elementary schools on the morning of Friday 9/11. TSFRS members were privileged to join the students and staff at Shiloh Hills and Spring Ridge Elementary Centers where the students gathered at their respective flagpoles to learn about the moment with appropriate and respectful ceremonies. This included music, raising the flag to half-staff, reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and hearing appropriate remarks from the school staff.
Similar ceremonies were conducted at other Wilson campus locations.
