On Friday February 17, Wyo FD Ladder 79, TSFR Rescue 85, and WBEMS Medic 6521 responded to Route 222 SB in Wyomissing Borough for a vehicle crash with injuries involving one vehicle into a drainage ravine. L79 arrived on location with a single vehicle approximately 30 feet down into an overgrown retention pond.

Personnel used eDraulic spreaders and irons to gain access to a single injured party. Captain 79 advised R85 of the additional needs of a stokes basket, eDraulic cutters, and a rope haul system to assist with moving the patient up from the bottom of the ravine. Members and EMS personnel assisted removing the patient and moving the patient up the embankment by use of a stokes basket and a rope system.

85 Fire Police remained on location assisting with traffic control until being released by Wyo PD.
